Ian Martin, head of global services at State Street and a 25-year veteran at the firm, has been appointed head of Asia-Pacific.

Wai-Kwong Seck, who was chief executive, Asia-Pacific, has decided to leave his role to follow new opportunities closer to his hometown of Singapore.

Kwong-Seck was senior executive vice-president and chief financial officer at SGX for eight years before joining State Street. He started his career at Lehman Brothers in 1995, and held a managing director role at DBS
