Egger joins Jefferies in sales in New York

Shawn Egger has joined Jefferies’ sales team as a senior vice-president, FX Week has learned.

He will report to Brad Bechtel, global head of foreign exchange at Jefferies.

New York-based Egger joins Jefferies from FX trading platform FastMatch, where he focused on promoting the trading venues’ products and services to buy-side market participants and hedge funds. He had worked at the firm since June 2017.

Prior to FastMatch, he worked at Citadel Securities in FX sales from 2014.
