Curex Group has promoted Franz Schmidpeter to head of global business development as a senior managing director, the firm has announced.
Schmidpeter has 25 years of banking experience under his belt, having worked in a variety of roles in proprietary trading, product development and client relations.
He started his career as an FX trader at HypoVereinsbank in 1986, after which he held several banking roles before co-founding Buyside FX, a firm specialising in FX workflow solutions for
