Shterenberg to lead G10 and EM e-FX trading at Barclays

Electronic strategy: Barclays has focused on reinvesting in people and technology over the past two years

Alex Shterenberg has been appointed as global head of G10 and emerging markets e-FX trading at Barclays.

New York-based Shterenberg has approximately 20 years’ experience in the industry. He was most recently global head of FX algorithmic execution and head of e-FX trading at BAML, where he started working in May 2013. In that role, he led the development of pricing and hedging models, as well as FX algo products.
