Zafar joins Credit Agricole from Barclays

The veteran banker moves to the French firm after spending 13 years at Barclays

New York return: Kashif Zafar leaves London after more than a decade to focus on the Americas

Kashif Zafar, a former head of senior relationship management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Barclays, is joining Credit Agricole as head of sales for the Americas and deputy head of global markets, the bank has announced. 

Zafar will report globally to Thomas Spitz, head of the global markets sales division and locally to Gene Kim, head of global markets international and the Americas. Zafar is relocating from London to New York for his new role.
