Singapore: Arvind Agarwal moves from Hong Kong for new role

Arvind Agarwal has joined Nomura as head of emerging markets FX trading for Asia, excluding Japan, FX Week has learned.

Agarwal joins the Japanese bank from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), where he was a director in the Asian non-deliverable forwards business, based in Hong Kong.

For his new role, he will relocate to Singapore, following four years at the US dealer.

Agarwal joined BAML in 2014, from Morgan Stanley, where he had been a director, working in Asian rates, as well as a
