Nomura hires Parkash as global head of e-FX distribution

Ashvin Parkash is set to join Nomura as global head of e-FX distribution, swapping BNP Paribas (BNPP) for the Japanese dealer, FX Week has learned.

Singapore-based Parkash was previously head of electronic foreign exchange sales for Asia-Pacific at BNPP, which he joined in July 2013.

At the French bank, Parkash reported to Florian Dumas, head of institutional interest rate FX sales for Asia-Pacific ex-Japan.

In his role, he focused on distributing BNPP’s cross-asset trading platform, Cortex
