Fotheringhame wins Barclays re-employment fight

David Fotheringhame has won the right to be re-employed by Barclays, in the role of director of data commercialisation, ending his lone fight with the bank that dismissed him in 2016, FX Week has learned.

A UK tribunal ruled that Barclays will have to re-engage the former head of automated flow trading, who won his unfair dismissal claim in March. Since then, Fotheringhame has been battling to regain his job, or an equivalent position at the bank.
