BNP Paribas makes raft of senior appointments in the Americas

Senior appointments flow from bank's desire to consolidate position in region on back of growth

BNP Paribas has made a number of senior appointments in the Americas region, as the French bank seeks to consolidate its position locally on the back of significant growth in the region.

The moves include Jean-Yves Fillion, Bob Hawley, Pierre Veyres, Philippe Ricard, Sonja Volpe, Thalès Gabay, Amanda Rajkumar and Emmanuelle Bury.

Fillion, a BNP Paribas veteran of 33 years, becomes chairman of the bank’s corporate and institutional banking arm for the Americas. He will remain as chief executive
