Simon Bevan, formerly a vice-president at Citi, has been appointed lead electronic quant trader for foreign exchange at Dutch bank ING, reporting to Stephan Malrait, global head of e-commerce and innovation for financial markets.

Bevan resigned from Citi in the past week, after working there since 2011. While at the US bank, he played a role in building out its electronic forward pricing, according to a source.
