Former RBS staffers Barnes and Richardson launch FX consultancy
Mark Barnes and Jason Richardson set up FX Xperts, focusing on front-office services in EMFX
Mark Barnes and Jason Richardson, former staffers at RBS, have launched a foreign exchange consultancy called FX Xperts.
Before leaving RBS in 2013 to pursue academic interests, Barnes was global head of macro client trading and FX options. He was a senior options trader for five years, after which he became global head of FX options and hybrids in May 2008, before being promoted to global head of FX in March 2009. He joined the UK bank as a senior FX options trader in 2002, from Merrill Lynch
