John O’Hara will retain FXPB and clearing responsibilities

John O’Hara has been promoted to head of prime brokerage and clearing for the Americas at Societe Generale, FX Week has learned.

He will also retain his responsibilities as global head of foreign exchange prime brokerage (PB) and FX clearing.

In his new role, O’Hara will gain oversight of the PB business lines, which include equity PB, fixed income PB, futures and over-the-counter derivatives clearing.
