Nomura hires Pio for sales role

Back in business: Pio is now head of foreign exchange sales at Nomura

Jeff Pio, who was head of macro sales at Barclays, will start at Nomura on June 1, as head of foreign exchange sales, FX Week has learned.

New York-based Pio joined Barclays in 2008, but the two parted ways in January. Prior to Barclays, he was a managing director at Lehman Brothers.

Nomura did not respond to a request for comment.
