Benda swaps Deutsche for Nomura

John Benda will focus on FX sales to Israel and the UK

London base: John Benda will report to Nicola Dilena

John Benda, who was on garden leave until recently, has joined Nomura to work in local markets flow sales to Israel and UK FX sales, FX Week has learned.

He will report to Nicola Dilena, head of FX sales for banks and electronic distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to Nomura, London-based Benda was a vice-president for corporate sales at Deutsche Bank. Having joined the German bank in 2010, his role included coverage of FX sales for hedge funds in Israeli and Italian
