SocGen hires O'Hara as PB sales director
Formerly of Credit Suisse, John O'Hara will be responsible for promoting Societe Generale's FX prime brokerage offering to hedge funds and institutional investors
John O'Hara, a former director at Credit Suisse, has joined Societe Generale as a director in its FX prime brokerage (PB) sales team, FX Week has learned.
Based in New York, he will report to Alain Courbebaisse, head of prime clearing services.
In this new role, O'Hara will develop relationships and promote Societe Generale's FXPB offering to hedge funds, proprietary trading groups and institutional investors.
