Natixis hires FX sales veteran

French investment bank Natixis has appointed Darren Barker to its foreign exchange sales team in London.

Barker will focus on sales to hedge funds and other financial institutions, and will report locally to James Lamb, managing director and head of FX sales. He joins from UniCredit, where he worked in hedge fund sales, and has also worked at JP Morgan, Bank of America, UBS and Deutsche Bank.

He started his career as an FX trader before moving into sales and has sold FX products to hedge funds
