
Gavsie to replace Thorsen as BMO’s FX chief

Bank of Montreal (BMO) Capital Markets has promoted Charles (CJ) Gavsie to head of foreign exchange products, succeeding Jamie Thorsen, who will retire from the bank at the end of this month.
Gavsie's new role will take effect on March 31, and he will be responsible for BMO's global FX sales and trading activity, which is staffed by almost 100 employees in Canada, the US, the UK and China.
