Babich departs HSBC as cuts hit FX

An ongoing series of cost-cutting measures at HSBC has claimed Rob Babich, the bank's chief foreign exchange spot dealer in New York, as well as four FX salespeople in London and New York.

Dean Heiden, a director in institutional sales, and Chris Bolton, who worked in FX sales to custody clients, have both left the bank in London. Meanwhile Ted Mermel, who worked in FX and derivatives sales, and Lily Han, an associate in corporate FX sales, have both left HSBC in New York.
