Richard Gladwin quits Nomura

Richard Gladwin, global head of foreign exchange at Nomura in London, has resigned his position to take time out from the industry.

Gladwin left the Japanese bank on August 5, having joined through its acquisition of the European and Asian operations of Lehman Brothers in 2008. He originally shared the global FX head role with Tokyo-based Fumihiko Kawano.

Gladwin's reporting line was about to change, as Nomura is merging its rates and FX businesses into a single platform, to be known as global
