Westpac recruits Townsend and Cameron in FX forwards
Australian bank Westpac has appointed Andrew Townsend as head of foreign exchange forwards for the northern hemisphere, adding to a series of recent hires in London and New York.
Townsend joins from Commerzbank and will be based in London, reporting to Peter Price, acting global head of forwards in Sydney. The bank has also hired foreign exchange forwards trader Stewart Cameron from Barclays Capital in London. He joined Barclays from Citi in 2003. At Westpac, Cameron will trade euro forwards and
