Gu to retire from BAML

David Gu, head of global rates and currencies and co-head of global markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) is to leave the bank, it was announced today.

Gu joined Merrill Lynch 20 years ago and has held senior roles in several areas of the business.

Meanwhile, Gerhard Seebacher, head of credit products in New York, has been promoted to head of global rates, foreign exchange and structured credit trading. He has been with the bank for more than 15
