HSBC promotes options chief
Simon Manwaring has been promoted internally from senior options trader to global head of G-10 FX options trading at HSBC, based in London. He replaces Robert Ross, former head of G-10 options trading, who resigned in August and will not be returning to the market. Manwaring joined the bank in August 2008 and currently reports locally to Vincent Craignou, global head of FX derivatives. He will start his new role in a month say bank sources. HSBC decline to comment.
