The bank has set up a dedicated global foreign exchange desk to focus on Gulf Co-operation Council FX trading 24 hours a day, and has separated the short-dated FX forwards business from the rates business to give the necessary focus and importance to both asset classes, it said. In total it has 200 seats at its regional trading desk in Dubai.
