Global heads quit StanChart

Mike Bass, global head of commodities at StanChart in Singapore, resigned from the bank on May 26 and served his last day on Friday. He took up the post in December last year, having held the title of global head of rates and foreign exchange since 2004.

His resignation concludes a seven-year career at StanChart, which saw him in a number of senior roles, including as global head of interest rates derivatives. Bass joined the bank in April 2001 as head of group treasury client relationship
