UBS chops 13 in forex
One London-based headhunter told FX Week six FX traders and seven of the sales team, including Treny, have lost their jobs as UBS continues to restructure its investment banking division.
Treny joined UBS from Deutsche Bank in January 2005 as head of corporate FX for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (FX Week, January 17, 2005). He was promoted to global head of corporate FX when Peter Beaumont left the Swiss bank in September 2005 (FX Week, September 5, 2005).
