StanChart steers forex operations to Dubai
Brown started at StanChart in London in October 2002 to March 2004, tranferring to Singapore in April that year. Prior to that, he worked for UBS in London between June 1997 to September 2002. It is believed that Brown's role will change as part of a departmental reshuffle, with its responsibilities split throughout the team.
More staff will be moving out of London, with Standard Chartered transferring up to nine traders to Dubai as part of plans to relocate part of its FX trading operation.
