NEW YORK - Wells Fargo has boosted its foreign exchange team in New York with two hires from Barclays Capital.

Tom Leonard and Paul Kohn left BarCap in New York last week (March 23), according to market sources, and they are expected to join Wells Fargo soon. One source told FX Week they will both report to Michael Chobor, who manages FX for the bank locally.

Leonard most recently headed the FX hedge fund sales team for BarCap. He had been with the bank for more than five years, having arrived
