Harris Veteran Retires To Launch Independent Forex Trading Firm

BANKS

Harris Bank FX veteran Robert Goetter is leaving the Chicago-based bank at the end of the month after 25 years. Goetter, who is responsible for overseeing the bank's forex options and managed futures businesses, as well as Harris Futures, its futures commission merchant (FCM), says he doesn't plan on retiring, however. He is setting up shop as an independent commodity pool operator (CPO) and commodity trading advisor (CTA).

Goetter's departure comes as Harris and Bank of Montreal (BMo) merge
