U.S. FX Committee Announces New Members, Subcommittees

REGULATIONS

The U.S. Foreign Exchange Committee has inducted a number of new members and announced details of its subcommittees. At the first meeting of the year, a number of issues emerged which will set the tone for 1994. Nearly all the new appointees to the Committee result from management changes made at member banks or organisations during 1993, sources say.

The FX Committee advises the Federal Reserve Bank on FX market-related issues and is comprised of senior executives in the FX market. FX Committee
