
CS First Boston Gears Up To Create Global Foreign Exchange Operation

In an attempt to follow the example set by rival investment banks, CS First Boston has decided to get serious about the foreign exchange business. So says Marc Hotimsky, CSFB's new global head of foreign exchange, who joined the company last week (FX Week, April 24). "There are a lot of flows that we're not capturing in foreign exchange right now," explains Hotimsky. "We'll do the equity part or the bond part of a transaction but we miss opportunities in forex.
