
Continental Closes Singapore FX Trading Desk Streamlines London Desk, Chicago Goes 24 Hours

Continental Bank substantially reduced its foreign exchange trading operations overseas in the last several weeks. The bank shut down its foreign exchange trading operation in Singapore late last month and has streamlined its trading operation in London, confirming reports that first surfaced in May (FX Week, May 17). Continental has also taken its foreign exchange trading desk in Chicago 24 hours, in an effort to maintain service.
