RepNat Names New Global Forex Head, While Hiring Six-Strong Team In Sydney

Republic National Bank of New York has named JP Morgan's Mark Brown as executive vice president and head of global foreign exchange, succeeding Anthony Chappell who is retiring from the bank, officials say. Separately, the bank is launching a new, six-strong FX and money markets operation at its subsidiary, Republic Mase Australia.

The new team in Sydney will focus on "developing relationships with both multinational and Australian companies operating in the Asian time zone and help Republic
