CBA Hires Sales Dealers To Bolster Desk In London

LONDON--Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has made three new hires for its London sales operation in recent weeks, bringing the total number of staff up to six, says Andy Baxter, head of FX trading and sales in London.
Tony Brown joins CBA's institutional sales desk from Tokai Bank, along with Stuart Smith, who joins from Credit Agricole Indosuez. They both report into Baxter, who himself joined the bank last year from Tokai (FXW, August 18, 1997).
On the corporate side, Alison Fletcher joins
