Areski Iberrakene has been hired by Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Group, as global head of foreign exchange options and a member of the foreign exchange management team. He will be focussing on euro, sterling, Japanese yen and Swiss franc, and emerging markets in Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America. He replaces Paul Abbenhaus, who left the bank in March.
