RBS promotes Manwaring to global head of FX
Simon Manwaring has run the bank's currency operations for several months
Simon Manwaring has been formally promoted to global head of FX at RBS, after running the bank's currency operations for a "few months", according to a source.
Manwaring joined the bank in December 2013, as global head of FX options and head of electronic trading, from Banco Santander. He later became head of FX trading in June 2015.
At Santander, he was head of FX between June 2011 and December 2013, before which he had been global head of FX options trading at HSBC since August 2008.
