Cavenagh appointed head of EM Asia FX strategy at JP Morgan
Based in Singapore, he joins JPM after 10 years at Westpac
Jonathan Cavenagh, chief Asian strategist at Westpac, has joined JP Morgan as head of Asia FX strategy for emerging markets (EM), where he will be responsible for formulating thematic research and investment recommendations for EM currencies.
Singapore-based Cavenagh spent more than a decade at Westpac, where he held different senior roles, including senior FX strategist and economist.
Before joining the Australian bank in 2004, he was an economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia from 2002.
