McKenzie to cover for Bond as she goes on maternity leave

Allan McKenzie will assume the role of global head of trading and clearing at State Street Global Markets (SSGM), as Martine Bond takes time out for maternity leave. McKenzie will be overseeing FX Connect, Currenex and Fund Connect, and he will be transferring from his current position as head of sales and trading and research's eFX market-making and distribution for SSGM.

McKenzie joined SSGM in 2010 from Laval Trading, where he was head of trading for five years. He had previously worked as head of business development in FX, among other roles, at Dresdner Kleinwort between 1992 and 2004.

Bond is an executive vice-president responsible for trading and clearing within State Street Global Exchange. She joined State Street in 2012 to oversee the operation and expansion of core trading and clearing assets including Currenex and FX Connect amongst others.

Prior to joining State Street, Bond worked at Morgan Stanley, where she ran the FX prime brokerage and clearing businesses, and the FX Gateway multi-manager investment portal. She was also the global chief operational officer for the foreign exchange and emerging markets business. Between 2004 and 2009 she led the FX prime brokerage business at JP Morgan where she was responsible for developing and executing core product strategies.
