Gain hires John Miesner in New York
Former Hotspot sales chief joins rival firm
John Miesner, former global head of sales at KCG Hotspot, has joined Gain Capital as head of global sales for GTX, the company's institutional foreign exchange platform.
Based in New York, Miesner will start his job on January 12, reporting to GTX chief executive Vincent Sangiovanni. Miesner had worked at rival electronic communications network (ECN) Hotspot since 2001, before leaving in September.
