Mizuho fixed-income head departs to launch hedge fund

Jeffrey Yap, head of fixed-income trading for Asia at Mizuho Securities in Hong Kong, has left the bank to start up a credit-focused hedge fund, Ark One. He will be chief investment officer and managing partner at the firm.
