Simone Andre leaves HSBC sales role

HSBC sign

Simone Andre has left HSBC in London, where she worked in foreign exchange sales to banks.

It is understood Andre's departure is part of HSBC's ongoing cost-cutting exercise, which has also claimed Dean Heiden, director in institutional sales, and Chris Bolton, who worked in FX sales to custody clients.

In New York, the cuts have led to the departures of Rob Babich, chief spot dealer, Ted Mermel, FX and derivatives salesperson, and Lily Han, associate in corporate FX sales.
