Nomura loses top FX spot dealer in New York

Dennis Heidt, director and chief foreign exchange spot dealer at Nomura in New York, has left the bank.

Heidt joined the Japanese bank in 2009 as part of the spot-trading team, having moved from UniCredit's spot-trading team. He had previously worked at Lehman Brothers and BNP Paribas. At Lehman Brothers, Heidt worked as a EUR/USD spot trader, reporting to Joel Holmes, chief dealer in New York. His plans are not yet known.

Meanwhile, Nomura is understood to have hired Brent Donnelly, a spot
