BAML hires Vamvakidis
Athanasios Vamvakidis has joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) as head of European G-10 foreign exchange strategy, reporting to David Woo, head of global rates and currencies research in New York. Vamvakidis joins the bank in London from the International Monetary Fund, where he was a senior economist in the regional studies unit of the European department, based in Croatia.
In his new role, Vamvakidis will be responsible for the bank's European G-10 currency research
