Yates lands new role as BarCap strategist
Yates has replaced Adarsh Sinha, former foreign exchange strategist at BarCap. Sinha moved to Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in July, following former BarCap research colleague, David Woo. Woo was global head of FX strategy until he left for BAML in May to head rates and currencies (FX Week, June 14).
Yates joins from Lloyds TSB, where she started as a sector economist two months ago. She reported locally to Hann-Ju Ho, senior sector economist based in London.
