StanChart grows banks business
Standard Chartered has appointed T S Shankar as its southern Asia transaction banking head for banks. Shankar started at the bank on September 1 in Singapore and reports to Jiten Arora, regional transaction banking head for southern Asia.
Shankar previously worked at Bank of America, covering Southeast Asia, Japan, India, Australia and New Zealand as senior vice-president - regional manager, global product solutions for financial institutions.
