CME FX up in February

Trading in FX products averaged a notional value of about $74.6 billion for the month.

Average daily volumes for interest rate products last month were up 19%, to 8.5 million contracts, from the same period last year.

CME Group electronic options volumes rose 72% to 448,000 contracts a day, representing a record 22% of total options volume. Electronic eurodollar options volume almost tripled from February last year to average 245,000 contracts a day, representing 21% of the total eurodollar
