Saxo adds FX options in the US
The options can be quoted with one-day to one-year expiries, and zero to 100 deltas, which represents the likelihood an option will be in the money upon expiration.
The capability has been available on the bank's online trading platform, SaxoTrader, for more than seven years in Europe and Asia. Edward Voorhees, head of options at Saxo Bank in Copenhagen said, however, that the bank has been using a fresh approach to the business since January.
