Deutsche builds in FX

Ray Franzi joins the client strategy and solutions (CSS) group, reporting to Rashid Hoosenally. Franzi was previously global head of FX structuring at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and will help drive FX and hybrid structuring for corporates in Europe ex-Germany.

David Cliff joins the quantitative trading team from HP Research Labs, reporting to Rhomaios Ram. He will work on electronic pricing and risk management systems.

Amadeo Ferri-Ricchi joins Madrid FX sales, reporting to Zar Amrolia and Juan-Jose Macias. He was previously responsible for derivatives marketing for Spain and Italy at Commerzbank, and will help drive Spanish corporate FX derivatives sales.

Bert Smits is joining the corporate sales FX team in Brussels. He joins from Fortis Bank in Brussels, and had also worked at Kredietbank in a number of roles as an FX options trader, on the financial engineering and corporate sales desks.

Meanwhile, Justin Jones has joined the institutional sales desk in Singapore, reporting to Peter Clarke, head of institutional FX sales.
