Olsson takes top role at RBS/ABN merger

Olsson is the only employee from the Dutch bank to secure one of the senior positions at the combined entity's FX operation, the bank confirmed. The rest of the positions will be filled by existing RBS staff.

Olsson has headed ABN's macro trading operation, which covers FX, rates, money markets and commodities, since its inception in January 2006. Before that he was London-based head of rates for the bank.
