BarCap's FX expansion continues

Polansky joins the bank this week from Citi, where he was most recently head of non-linear emerging markets trading in London (FX Week, August 20).

The latest hire demonstrates a continued push by the bank to expand its products, capabilities and coverage. Most recently, BarCap hired Sam Ford, former global head of structuring at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London (FX Week, October 8). Ford becomes head of UK mid-cap corporate marketing.
