Security Pacific Names Smith Chief Dealer Of L.A. FX Unit

Tony Smith has recently been appointed chief dealer of Security Pacific National Bank’s Los Angeles foreign exchange operation. The move follows former chief dealer Allan McKenzie’s recent decision to join Swiss Volksbank’s London operation (FX Week, Sept. 28). As chief dealer, Smith will be reporting to the foreign exchange manager of the Los Angeles office, John Richards.
Before being named chief dealer, Smith was a Deutsche mark trader on Sec Pac’s desk in L.A. where he had been transferred
